HVAC
(Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning)

Determines the temperature and humidity of the air in a building and also provides smoke control, maintains pressure between spaces, and provides fresh air to occupants.

Heating

An effective heater that can reduce electricity consumption and create a comfortable environment.

Ventilation

The process of removing stale air in a room to create a comfortable and healthy air flow.

Air Conditioning

Air conditioning units in strategic locations either centrally or individually can save energy usage.

Main Functions of
HVAC System.

Temperature

The ability to heat or cool the temperature of the room

Humidity

Humidity ratio indicates the percentage of water vapor content in the air. Air humidity is greatly influenced by temperature.

Air Velocity

The presence of fresh air ventilation, to maintain the quality of air in the room.

Cleanliness

Substances regulated during the cleanliness period include floating particles, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and formaldehyde.

Air Conditioning Process in HVAC System

The air conditioning process in the HVAC system begins with a chiller machine that works to produce cold water. Then the cold water is distributed by a pump to the air handling unit (AHU) or Fan Coil Unit (FCU).

The air will be flowed through the AHU and FCU coils where cold water produced by the chiller machine flows. The air that passes through the AHU and FCU coils will have a lower temperature after exchanging heat with the cold water that passes through the AHU coil. Air with a low temperature and a certain relative humidity will later be distributed to the rooms and will increase the comfort of its users.
